I download many applications and for the most part they do not give me the dreaded warning about the download "harming your computer".

How do I (or can I) configure my InstallSimple download procedure to avoid this message without making changes to the end user's operating system.

Can the modify the registry feature accomplish this? If so, how.
Thanks,
V Ingram

Hi
This is a problem of any applications that are distributed over the Internet...
Cause of the problem is a "SmartScreen Filter" in the Windows operating system that is protecting users from installing unsigned applications.

SmartScreen Filter creates problems to software vendors who try to distribute updated version of setup or binary files on internet. Everytime an updated version is released, SmartFilter starts saying that the file is not commonly downloaded and can download harmful files to your computer.

The simple way to disable warnings - you can pack your installation package (Setup.exe) into ZIP-archive and distribute it.
